A guy I know has one and is willing to sell the frame for $250.
I want an AM bike because I like to do a bit of everything, but I want something decent because I ride 3 or 4 times a week.
Thats my old frame.. well, actually i had an AM2000 which has a DHX 3.0; better than the vanilla. All in all, a reeeally solid bike that can be had for cheap. Go for it. You get adjustable travel, 4,5, and 6 inches.. although mine was always on 6. You get an overbuilt AM frame which 'should' take a good amount of abuse. The only real complaint from me is the high BB, not so great for cornering, but a blast for pedaling through rough stuff.
Plenty of info on those frames around if you search. A few other brands use that frame as well.
