kenda bbg the bees knees dry condition tire?

just read two reviews on blister gear that the kenda brian lopes bbg tire was arguably one of the best dry condition tires they ever rode. one of the guys claimed to be a maxxis whore doing the review. pretty bold statement.
wondering if this is just writers hype. anyone with personal experience here?

Ok , a long late reply....

I like this tire very much on the back for dry or loose over hard , it's surprisingly good at braking and rolls fast. Big side lugs and room let it corner hard. My favorite rear tire, I wish they made it in 29".

wow, bringing it back from the dead.

Anyway, schwalbe rock razor should be a consideration. Low knob height with aggressive side knobs.

I agree with the reviews. Corners great and rolls well when dry. Mud fills in the centre of the tread between the side knobs when it's wet giving you no pedalling or breaking traction.

Kenda needs to bring this tire back in UST! One of my all-time fave back tires. I rode the rock razor and it didn't seem to corner as well. It has a rounder profile than the BBG.
