juicy & DOT 5.1 car brake fluid

I have half a bottle DOT 5.1 brake fluid left from when I serviced my car.
Can I use it in my juicy 7s?
I guess it is the same as bike brake fluid but can anyone confirm it?
    Thanks in advance,
    Manos

There's no such thing as 'bike brake fluid'. As long as 5.1 is compatible with your brakes and the fluid that's already in there then yes.

Careful, I read that DOT 5.1 cannot be mixed with DOT 3/4.
Something about one being silicon based and the other not.

If I am not mistaken, bike brakes have the equivalent of DOT 3/4.
Grit, spit, and a whole lot of duct tape!

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you're thinking of DOT 5 that is silicone based and not compatible with DOT 3/4.

DOT 5.1 is not silicone based and therefore is compatible.
