I went into work yesterday to find this box, unwittingly I walked right past it...
It turns out my jekyll has arrived! I built it up and rode it home yesterday, Ill have a review of its performance sunday evening after my ride on my day off..
For now please enjoy some bike pron...
Ill also weigh it tonight after I do the tubeless conversion and put some pedals on the sucker.
Even the ride home was great, its been a while since I was on something with gears numbering more than sitting, standing and puking.

Well I weighed it and did the tubeless conversion, even with shop pedals on it, the bike weighs in at 28lbs and 3oz. I scrapped my idea for crank bros candies and Im going to go with the Shimano XT or XTR trail pedal, I just need to figure out whether the xt Trail is rebuildable like the XTR or not. In the meantime Ill install my old eggbeaters that really belong on my XC bike. Regardless of what people have to say about it im going with the CB Kronolog, since CB is right down the street, unless I can find a suitable substitute in the area in a short time frame, Sunday will be my first ride! waiting sucks...

I had the same bars on mine, that you have on yours. But, I found they where too narrow. I have the answer pro taper 720 am aluminum bars. Just a little wider, but made a world of a difference. Very solid bars and are priced good too. I wished I picked up another pair of those straitline brake levers. I found out straitline is getting out of the brake lever business. So, there hard to get now. But, they are the most comfortable two finger levers I have ever used.
If your looking for a comfortable saddle I would suggest you look elsewhere, although since it has broken in a bit it is less uncomfortable than it used to be.
Also, I recently had a bit of an accident that resulted in the loss of my rear derailleur and saw it as an opportunity to upgrade so I went to Shimano XTR rear shadow plus and XTR shifters up front, its a world of difference from the Sram X9 that I had, which was good, but not in comparison to the Shimano. Ill post pics later today or tonight.

Great looking bike. Love the looks of the new Jekyl. I've heard they ride pretty nice too. Wish I could've sampled one at I-bike this year but Cannondale was a no-show.
To triaman3: I really like my Gobi XM saddles. I have them on both my bikes and for as narrow and light as they are, they are quite comfy (for me and my nethers anyway).
