    Iscg Adapter... Do they work?

Does anyone have any experience with these Amazon.com: RaceFace ISCG Adaptor Plate: Sports & Outdoors I'm planning on using this with a GXP bottom bracket and maybe an MRP Micro.
I was wondering how sturdy these are, and if they stay in place.
    Thanks

If you torque your BB to the correct spec (or even close to it) there is no way that the adapter plate should move. My brother has been using one for awhile and often smashes his bash guard into rocks and fallen trees and nothing has gone wrong so far.

I dont see why not. There is enough torque and surface contact there to keep it in place.

I bet Raceface would say they're only for guides and not to be used with tacos. I wouldn't expect an adapter to handle impacts well but the guy above says they do.
    Keep the Country country.

I have one on my Intense Spider and have had no problems. If you do use a taco and bash it at least you can replace the adapter instead of having permanent ISCG tabs that are broken or crumpled.
