    I Need a Rear Wheel - budget(ish)

Looking for a deal on a 26" for standard QR rear. Currently running a Hope Flow up front, and was running an old Sun Mammoth rear. Out of adjustment shifter put my chain between the cassette and spokes. Damaged basically all the right side spokes, doubt it's worth fixing.

Riding is probably mild for most, drops typically under 3'. But I'm ~240lbs so I'd prefer something sturdy.

Thinking about a matching Flow rear, but would be pumped to find something decent for less than $290.

Have you seen anything on clearance?

Is the rim/hub still in good shape? If so your most budget option could be a rebuild of the wheel with just new spokes.

    Azonic Outlaw.

    Very strong, cheap, but heavy.

I'm a larger guy too, took me 5 years to kill an Outlaw rear wheel.

The rim is fine, the hub is a junky old Shimano deore... good excuse for an upgrade.

Yeah, I have outlaws on my Mongoose Ritual. Where are you seeing. A rear only?

Strong? Can I run my 8spd cassette on that hub?

    No input on that wheel?

What about should I stick with a matching flow rim for the rear or would the 721 be considerably stronger?
