How much do you spend on Gear?

I just got some new gear and im shocked at how much I spent giving that I bought cheap stuff.

    sixsixone full face helmet
protective jacket with elbow pads built in
    gloves
    knee/shin guards
new set of 50/50 pedals for playing on some ledges and curbes at the house.
cheap trek road helmet for around the house
bike shoes and a set of time atac pedals for road and trail
Bike repair kit that includes: co2, tire shims for tire removal, spare tube and a under the seat bag to hold it all.

    Cost was about $650
    Trek Fuel EX8
    Full XT cockpit
    Thompson X4 Elite Stem
Easton Haven Carbon Handlebars / Seatpost

You spent about $500 more than you needed to. But it's your money. Go for it!
