    Help for santa cruz hightower

    Hi everybody,
    I'm an italian biker.
I need help for choosing the right size for me of the amazing Santa Cruz Hightower 2017.
    I'm 182 centimeters (71.6 inches).
I see from the santa cruz website that the right size should be L, but the seller says that the right size for me is XL.
Now I'm using a specialized camber, size L, and sometimes I feel that I'm in a narrow position, even if my stem is 4 inches long.
On next wednesday I'll go to see the bike and touch it with my hands...
Anyway, can someone tell me something about?
Thank you very much and sorry for my english!!!
    Massimo

You need to test ride both before buying. at 5'11" you are right in between sizes. My gut would say Large, but the fact that you feel a Large camber is too small is enough of a reason for you to check out an Xl hightower before you drop money. You can always run a shorter stem on an XL to get the reach back to where you want it.

Lookup the year of camber you have and compare the reach figures to that of the hightower... that way you can compare how your current bike feels to how any new bikes you are considering may feel.

I'm 180cm (without shoes), and I demoed a L with a 50mm stem. I like a stretched out riding position, and I would still probably put a 40-45mm stem on it.

Iím a shade under 6í now a days. I ride a Large HT and I think itís perfect. I came off a Large Stumpjumper. The geometries are different between the two bikes. But I think I fit the HT even better. Iím running a 27.5+ setup

Go L, XL will be too big, even with a shorter (45mm) stem. I am 6'2" and felt the XL was slightly too long with a 50mm stem.
