Help with a disc brake adapter (apparently three millimeters does matter).

Hey, all. I'd love some advice on a minor but crucial component.

I've got a 2015 carbon Norco Sight. It came with Shimano SLX BLM675 brakes.

The rotors were 180mm, but I wanted to go big, so I slapped a 200mm Sram rotor on the front. I had a Shimano 203mm brake adapter sitting around (SM-MAF203P/P), so I thought, "Hey, what's 3mm?" and bolted it on.

After a few months I investigated the brake pads and I could see clearly what 3mm was. There was a nice ridged groove in the pads.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if there's a brake adapter that's appropriate. Does Shimano make a 200mm adapter? Or would something else work?

    If it matters, here's the details on my Fox fork: 2018, 34, A, FLOAT, 27.5in, P-S, 150, Grip 3Pos, Matte Blk, Std/Matte Blk Logo, 15QRx100, 1.5 T, 44mm Rake, AM.

Thanks for reading and for any advice.

Or a SRAM adapter.T he fork is native 160 so you need a 40mm pm adapter.

Thanks, all. I'll try the cheaper way first with the Sram adapter. If that doesn't work, I guess I need to drop some coin on a Shimano rotor.

I'm guessing I use the standard rather than the CPS system - since I think CPS is a Sram thing and my brakes are Shimano (SLX BLM675).

Am I right on that, Lone? (Or is it "Mr. Ranger"?)

    Thanks again,

    Joel
