Much more of a park bike. Heavy and squishy. It will climb, but depending on how much you feel like punishing yourself that day, you may or may not enjoy the trip up. Looks to be 1x and you may want to throw a smaller chainring/larger range cassette on it if you will be doing any kind of climbing.
In my opinion, if you are looking for something that climbs well, look somewhere else. That being said, I own a long travel (180mm) trail bike that is heavy and it is only bearable on the ride up but the downs are a blast and that's how I like it.

The SOCOM is a DH race bike. That one seems to have been built up as a park bike. It has 8 inches of travel and is not designed for climbing. If you are trying to replace your stumpy with a bike of the same style and for the same purposes, look elsewhere.

I remember when the Socom came out.
It's intention was a Freeride, park bike.
The way it's set up in the photo would push it more to going down, and a hard time going up.
Depending on where you live, this could be a fun all around bike.
Here in Ohio, I wouldn't hesitate to call that an All Mountian, (or All Hill) bike.
In an area with a lot of long climbs, I may pass on it.
