I have a 2009 HardRock Sport Disc which is completely stock right now.

The factory SR Suntour SF8-XCT-V2 (80mm) shocks don't seem to help much with some of the rougher downhill trails I've been doing lately. I've tried playing with the shock dampening settings, but they seem to not do much.

I'm looking for an upgrade that I can use with the stock wheels without having to change the quick release/spindle. Preferably something I can source for cheap, used on Craigslist for $100 or less. A bit more travel would be nice too and something that can maybe hold wider tires, too.
