    GT force 3.0 2011 VS GT sensor 3.0 2011

    GT force 3.0 2011 vs GT sensor 3.0 2011??
I was on eBay and a guy has a GT force for cheap and says it's like new and the GT sensor I'm looking at is more expensive because it's actually new, should I buy the force?
I want more travel but also want a light weight bike...
Have a bit of a panic attack because I don't know if Ill regret letting this chance slip through my fingers, I'm planing on going DH sometime but don't know when because DH bikes are WAY More money than I can afford.
I would like to do extreme riding and don't know if the sensor will be able to handle it... The force seems to be more a brut but that also means more weight.. Can't decide!!
If someone will please give me some advice that would be REALLY nice.
are the forks air or spring?

I had a 3.0 and upgraded to the Carbon Expert Force. The 3.0 can handle the beating for a little while. Its heavier and the components flat out suck if you want to ride AM. I had an 09 3.0 and had to spend an additonal $1000 to upgrade all of the crap they put on the bike. FSA Alpha crank is absolute JUNK. The Suntour Fork is good for 12 months and then you will have to replace it b/c Suntour does repair their forks. Their basically disposable. The frame and I-Drive are great.

I love the Carbon Force. The Sensor is more CC. I love the Expert Force. My advise make sure you have good components. I should have not upgraded the 3.0 to all XT and just spent the money on the Carbon Expert from the begining.

I hav a force 3.0 and its a kiler bike. I also have had to spend $ upgrading the fork to a RS sektor. The suntour that comes with it is air. The bike is not made for downhill abuse but will hande aggressive trail riding/AM. The sensor is not much lighter but a lotess capable. I'd go with the force and upgrade as it breaks. All bikes break components so if ur going to upgrade eventually save a lil $ o the front end.
To give u an idea I pd $950 plus tax for mine, a 2010 model. Its a killer bike and has made riding fun for me again coming from a HT. I'd go for it!
