    Gravity Dropper housing

I have a Gravity Dropper Turbo.

As far as I know, its cable can be replaced with a standard shifting cable.

But what about the housing? Could I replace it with a standard shifting housing? Or do I need to use the specific Gravity Dropper housing?

Shifter housing also! The GD is quite amazing in the fact that you can fix and repair it with just about anything laying around!

OK, thanks. My new GD Turbo LP arrived yesterday--can't wait and try it!

I asked because its original housing seems smaller (outside diameter) than shifting housing, and I feared the latter wouldn't fit somewhere.

I'd like to replace the original black housing with white, like all other housing and cables on my bike

FYI the post is compatible with any 4mm derailleur housing.

BTW i'd like to change cable and housing, but I'm a bit intimidated by the many steps listed in the instruction manual. How long will it take the 1st time?
