Good replacment choices for Fox van R

I am looking to replace the Fox Vanilla R shock that came stock on my '07 Kona Coiler.
I am looking for an air shock because I don't think that I ride hard enough to really need a coil, and I could really use the weight savings

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks guys

maybe a fox float r. Theyre light, effectively take care of the basic needs, and can be had for a a song and a dance on ebay. probably a new take off for $100 if you are a good ebayer

Thanks for the responce. That is about the only shock that I have really considered so far. That or the Float R23.

    Any other suggestions?

well you could go for the fox van r (coil), or the dhx air or coil. With not sounding like you need a heavy duty shock and looking to save weight I'd go for the float r or r23. Ive got a r and my bike regularly see's 8-12 ft hucks, and pretty big doubles. I'm a smooth lander though.
