Good frame thats designed for coil shock?

Dont really need a 6 in bike but at 250# thats what I fill I need to stay away from flex. any way rode a yeti 7 in denver this past year it had an rp23 the bike was plenty stout enough for my riding style Xc wooded hilly singletrack.Seems at my weight Im not getting good use of air shocks.Would the 7 be better with coil are is it designed more for air I see the website has coil option.Anyway any other recomendations wecome on coil designed bikes with 5 to 7 in with not to slack angles for cx riding. Thanks

Foes FXR would be my choice... Santa Cruz Heckler or the new Butcher are close seconds. The Yeti is pretty awesome too, though. High, forward single pivots are about the least flexy frame designs you'll find.

Marin Attack Trail is super stiff. If you want lighter, Knolly Endorphin.

    Ventana El C

How about the Ventana El Ciclon. There are very stiff 5" bikes. You can get great deals on them right now as well.

+1 on the rune. Looks like a very adjustable bike and runs air or coil 7.875 x 2.25 shocks. It also has a 1.5" headtube so you can run an angleset to play with the ha if you want. The 6" giant reign can also be run with a coil.

My Heckler performs so much better with a coil rear end. I've always loved Rune's too.

that Rune suggestion is very good. seriously nice option. My buddy has one that he recently put an Elka w/ti spring and it is amazing. Traction all day everyday! A CCDB would be great on it as well.
