    Cool-blue Rhythm Giant Revel 1

    Heyy!
i bought a 2013 Giant revel 1 earlier this year and i have hit the trails pretty hard. ive been to a few trails around new jersey and the only mod ive done is getting clipless pedals which after 10 rides im still getting used to it. im wondering if anyone has modded this kind of bike already and can tell me what you think would be good replacements for it. i heard this bike was very upgradable.

i have on it right now sram x5. mechanical disk brakes. sr suntour suspension with lockout. and shimano spd520 clipless pedals.

I think a beneficial upgrade would be a new fork. You can upgrade through the Suntour Loyalty program or search around for some other forks

Check out the Suntour fork upgrade program - If you want to upgrade your Suntour fork

Where in NJ are you from?

You can see what I have upgraded on my Revel by clicking on the link below.

What is the current travel? You should be cool +/-20mm, you'll want one with qr dropouts unless you plan to upgrade your wheels/hubs at the same time.

If you go the Suntour route, the Raidon sounds like your best bet. I did that and it was a substantial improvement over my xct.

I'm also from Jersey - very near Bridgewater. Chimney Rock/6 Mile Run are great trails in the area
