Giant anthem xo or x1 advice please

    Giant anthem x0 or x1

Hi all I'm currently in the market to buy a full sus as an upgrade from my boardman ht pro. I can currently get last year's anthem xo for 1749 reduced from 3400 or the x1 for 1649 reduced from 2400. The main difference I can see is one runs completes sram xo and the other complete xt. My boardman currently runs x9 which I've been very happy with but I've only had it a few months. I like to trail ride with the boys thru the woods with some fast downhill twisty action and the occasional small jump. I know both are top end spec ccomponents but not sure which is better than xo seems too good to be true with the price drop?*Any advice would much appreciated from you guys as your a lot more experienced than me.*Many thanks Shane

Get the xo build. If you like the way your current sram setup shifts, you won't be disappointed. The only thing that I believe shimano is better at than sram currently is brakes. Avid are a pain to deal with.
