    Entry Level XC Bike

What would be a decent entry level bike for my wife? She's 5'-4" And 120 lbs. She will be doing mainly trails with easy to modrate climbs. We would like to stay in the $400.00 - $500.00 range.

Go to bike shops. See what they have in stock, in your price range. Have your wife test them, and see what she likes.

We scored. We picked up a new Iron Horse warrior 3.5 for $449.00. It has sram X7, Avid jucy and a pretty good set up for the price. The only thing are the forks are Bomber Mz but they are perfict for her weight and riding ability.

That bomber mz fork is great for a starter. I am 90 lbs and I have it on my IRON HORSE WARRIOR 4.0. I take it off 3 foot drops to flat and it does fine.
