New question here. Dakine Drafter question

I ask the AM guys since I imagine most of you use some sort of pack.

I replaced my old Nalgene style bladder with the new Dakine one with the open top and much better bite valve (bit through two of them). How are you hanging the new bladder in the old Drafter? It has a hook for the old bladder but not much else.

My new Dakine bladder (Hydrapak made one) has a little ring on the top to attach to the hook. Does yours not have one?

Mine has a piece connected to the slider so I do not loose it but the hole for the hook it came with is too small. The clip is rather large from the older Dakine packs.

My Dakine Nomad doesn't even have a hook - it just sits in it's pocket. Can you do the same in the Drafter? As in, does it need the hook at all?

FWIW you can get the Nalgene bite-me valve covers off eBay for about $5 for 2. They seem a lot better than the old ones and last ... well, seemingly indefinitely.
