Could someone please explain this geometry to me???

    Hardtail

Fork: Manitou R-7 Elite w/ 80mm Travel / Adjustable Platform Plus Damping / External Rebound Adjustment / Platform Adjustment / PreLoad Adjust / 30mm Black Aluminum Stanchions / One Piece Magnesium Lowers / Forged Hollow Aluminum Crown

    Geometry is as follows
    Frame Size 20"
    Head Angle 70
    Seat-Tube Angle 73
    Top-Tube Length 22"
    Chain-Stay Length 16.75"
    BB Height 11.7"
    Offset (mm) 43mm
    Wheelbase 42"
    Standover 31"

I realize this is probably geared primarily for cross country but looking at those figures, would this double as a decent all mountain bike based on geometry alone?

I'd have to guess the 80mm fork will only allow so much before bottoming out?

Is the geometry good fior drops/ climbs?

Thanks in advance to every knowledgeable poster this forum provides.

No, not really. the fork is too short, the head and seat angles are too steep, and the frame is kinda long. sounds like xc Plus no rear shock
that said you CAN do any kind of riding you want, but doing serious drops will break something, it should be good for climbing though
