Hey every one that's reading!, i been rebuilding and restoring a 98 v500 past two summers to original spec as much as i could and im nearly done, one thing came up twice now and that is the handlebar got loose twice now in past 3 months so im not 100% sure why that is tho i taken it off and looked at the handle bar and it still has grooves but the stem doesn't have teeth like an old school 1" stem i had once and i think today's stems don't have them? so im thinking it's the coda stem with 20 rise and im not sure is it a 1.5 size or 1-9/16-inch steerer clamp or what stem size do i need?
i found on ebay
1: Cannondale HeadShok XC3 20 rise 1-9/16-inch steerer clamp not 1.5
(i like new 4 bolt design)
2: Cannondale C1 100 x 31.8mm 1.5" Mountain Stem (i like new 4 bolt design)
then some thing real cool i liked a lot3
3:SYNCROS FR FREERIDE 1.5 8 DEG STEM 50MM
4: or go stock with CANNONDALE CODA 135mm, 25.4 HEADSHOK MOUNTAIN BIKE STEM 1.5 10 rise just lower rise 2 bolt design (but then i read mine could be not 1.5 wtf)
so im lost on what size i need, thanks
