    Broken Frame - need advice

    Hi there

I've got a Cannondale CAAD5 F800 SL frame with full XTR. The frame just snapped, and is totalled.

Forgive my ignorance, but i know diddley squat about mountain bikes. I'd like to get another frame, but want all the componentry to fit the new frame, so i dont have to buy new seat posts, forks, crankset, etc.

Will there likely be compatibility issues, or am I OK to buy other frames?

    Many thanks

It's probably about 5 years old. I've had it 3 years, but bought it 2nd hand, so Cannondale won't honour their lifetime guarantee

thats no fun =( New frames aren't cheap as for the component compatibility I can't help. Maybe go to your LBS and ask what they have for frames.
