BikeYoke Revive 31.6 160mm dropper post and Ibis Mojo HD3 Large frame, will it work?

    Hey,

I have an Ibis Mojo HD3 Large frame. I want to upgrade my dropper post to the BikeYoke Revive 31.6 160mm. Based on my frame specs I have 230mm max insertion depth. The charts show that the main part of the post goes to 233mm and with the hardware it goes to 264.5. I was wondering if anyone has tried using the 160mm version on the bike-frame I have? Wondering if the hardware will fit beyond 230mm into the tube or if you really need the full 264mm of insertion? Thanks

On another post I read that you currently have a KS @ 150. Correct?
If so how much exposed seatpost do you have at the moment? KS @ 150 has a total insert lenght of 240mm including hardware. So if you have at least 36mm (~1.5in) of seatpost showing you should be good with the Revive @ 160mm.
Hope my quick math is correct.
