New question here. BB Mounting Guides

    Hey all,
This is my first post so apologies if i make any stupid mistakes.

I have an older Diamondback Mission 1 wand want to convert to a 1x9 drive train.
The only issue is that i have no ISCG tabs and i think its a press fit BB.
I really want to retain bash protection but also want a solution to avoid chain derailing.

I would be really glad of any comments, experience or recommendations.
I am aware that there are other posts/threads about this but i am still very confused .

    Cheers.

What is your current crankset setup, 3X?
If so just ditch the chain rings and get 32t narrow wide chain ring, and put a bash ring where the outer chain ring was and that should be all you need.
