Assembling SRAM X4 Trigger Shifter
Yeah,so i made a huge mistake when i opened my trigger shifter,i know. What i want to ask,is how to reassemble it? I have already reassembled most of the shifter, yet only one step remains that i cannot find. There are two metal brackets in there* i have already figured out where one of those fits in,yet the other one remains an unsolved mystery.I know my description is really crap, but do any of you have any diagram in order to see where this small part fits in?

Sorry no help from me, but may I ask you if on the inside of the shifter, is there a bolt that runs all the way through and on the other end of it is there a nut?
The only advice I can give is actually pretty bad advice, but if all else fails take apart the other shifter but either write down or video tape yourself taking it apart so that you know where the brackets go and how to put it back together.

Yeah i think that nut exists...thanks for the advice, but since i don't know much about bicycles,i'd rather have someone else do it cause i'm afraid i could ruin the other shifter as well

Yeah for now just wait until somebody gives better advice. If its messed up completely, a new X4 shifter only costs about 25 bucks

There was a thread about it I've seen yesterday.
Try to do a search for it real quick.
