    anyone here using cush core?

lots of good reviews, only a couple of weird negative ones. trying to figure this product out and if its worth the cost. do you feel the weight of it when climbing roads and tech trails? what are the pros and cons according to those who run it?

something tells me this is either the wrong forum or no one out here is using it. there are 50 forums too many dividing up riders so who knows whose looking where and might have experience with it.

it has one role it does really good.

wet slippery trails, you can run low pressures for grip, but not squirm so much, and a ton less risk of dinging or cracking a rim. that is all., if it is dry all the time you can just run higher pressures and the grip is already not a problem.

yes it is like riding uphill with dead mice in the tires, you will notice the weight if you want to notice it. but as I said, if it is wet and slimy and you want to fart your tires down to sub-20psi for grip, these cores allow you to do stuff otherwise too risky to the rim.

so, they have a place in MTB for sure, and are awesome when you find a way to use them. use them all the time everywhere ? nope to that. you always ride rainforests ? then use them daily.
