So I was lucky enough to get a warranty frame (and fork) replacement for my 2008 Stumpy Pro Carbon FSR. Very much enjoying the extra travel, and have a tougher wheelset (NoTubes Arch rims with Hope Pro 2 Evo hubs) and a Reverb adjustable seatpost (amongst other things). Certainly moving along the scale from XC to AM.
Took it to Afan in Wales and shot this video - I love this bike! Be sure to watch it in HD:
BECAUSE someone keeps crashing and leaving their plastic pedal pieces everywhere. Therefore, no good trails until that someone picks up the lost pieces.
I've never been to Michigan, but just so that you feel better, we have to drive for 3.5 hours from London to get to that singletrack in Wales, and there ain't much of it!
That's why I left. MI was a fun place to grow up and has a lot of outdoor sports but here in OR/WA we have all those at the highest level; Post Canyon and Black Rock for MTB, Mt St Helens/Adams for Snowmobiling, the Gorge and coast for windsurfing/kiteboarding... the list goes on and on.
