    all mountain wheels?

im a bit of a novice on wheels, so here goes..

im looking at getting some new All Mountain wheels to replace my xc wheels, as ive started doing drops and more dirt jumps, (only up to 4 foot at the moment but getting bigger )

what price range should i look in for a decent set, and any suggestions (im in uk)

my current wheels have quick release, does this mean wheels with a 10/12/15 mm axle wont fit on?
i have replaceable dropouts on the rear so i guess u can change it to accept the 10/12/15mm axles??

also would it be cheaper to build them myself? i want to learn anyway so i fugure would be worth a try

    many thanks

You are going to need to part with 300 quid now that the pound has collapsed.

Mavic on Hopes from Chainreactioncycles would be a good bet. Alternatively the hope hoops direct from Hope. Offering DT 5.1 rims on Pro 2's. Any axle catered for and parts to for the future should you go 15mm/20mm front. They will soon be offering Stans rims as well as Mavic. Again Hope Hoops available from CRC or good bike shops.

Ideally you want to be running a 2.35 pls tyre for most AM rides
