The ALL Mountain action photo thread

Post your "going all mountain" photos here! I don't admit to knowing what "AM" really is, but it seems every forum has it's own sort of photo thread thing, so....

Sorry, no action pic since I was riding on my own:

Alps / Austria / Steinwand route - Altenmarkt:

In Europe All-Mountain is a bike with 140mm to 150mm of travel and of course about riding in the mountains...

This is AM because my bike is bad-ass enough to take a drop 4 times as high, which is what I will claim this was while drinking beer in the parking lot after.

    Lunch Loops, Grand Junction, Co.

I suggest changing the name to something like "the all mountain action photo thread" or something that will separate it from the bike porn threads

Great action thread for a specific bike: Mojo HD action thread!!

Some park riding, but it's with a 6" bike, not a DH bike.

Indeed it is! that was actually the first ride of her maiden voyage, a trip we made to Grand Junction, Fruita and Moab. I love the bike, its everything I wanted on a bike and everything i'd want for our home trails (Venezuela). Absolutely happy with every aspect of the bike.

OP and Fuglio, VERY impressive contributions!

this is literally the only mtb photo of me that I have; hoping I will have a few more humble submissions this summer.

its last fall in Dupont, NC...fall, southeast, and mtb are a great combo

had to crop it since original was too...was actually a portrait layout with lots of fall colors

OK, cool. Looks a lot like how I remember a drop at the Saratoga Mountain Bike Association Trails in Upstate NY. Reminded me of riding there for a second.

I'm not liking the angle of your bike, and the position of your knee relative to that pointed rock. Hope you held on to it.

Are you being serious, or facetious? That looks more like 4-6 feet tops? Maybe the landing is not in the frame..

But this is what I think of when I hear "superman" in regards to a dirt jump:

I think you got it! Just being dry.

I saw somewhere on the forum that the Giant Trance can't take a 10 ft drop, so it's not all mountain. That was my inspiration of the first comment, but I admittedly got a bit carried away

No worries, my bad. I should have really caught the dryness of the post. Very good! 10ft. or not, looks like a fun line.

Awesome. Dry humor is welcome here. Im with you the All Mountain obnoxiousness. Thats why ilikebthis thread, its more about what you did do, rather then what the bike"can" do.

Funny how so many responded with skepticism instead of noticing that it was obviously all posted sarcastically. Maybe mine are just better tuned due to being regularly sarcastic.

I don't really have a good pic but since I'm now participating in this thread I better post something on my "AM" bike

Nice, I don't get there much since I live in Lakewood and Boulder is kind of a pain in the ass to get to from anywhere not Boulder. It's a great park though! They did an awesome job with it.

Sweet. I was flicking through your Flickr, and those are some mean looking trails out in Ely. I'll have to make it out that way with mi bicicleta. I've been doing field work in the Snake Range. Is there anything rideable there, or is it all pretty much off limits due to the park?

And just to keep things on topic, Downieville, CA:
