    Adjustable seatpost lengths

I'n going to ask a question that I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to, but here it goes anyway:
Put the first ride in last night on my new bike with a dropper post. It is a 400mm overall length (though it actually only measured 390 when I put a tape to it). I need another 35mm or so of additional height to hit the sweet spot on pedaling efficiency (stupid long legs!). I'm pretty sure this means selling this post and buying another longer, but just thought I'd check to see if anyone has modified a dropper to make the post longer. I was thinking about some sort of clampy thingy (technical term) that would go between the saddle rails and seatpost rail clamp. Or modify the saddle rails so they drop the extra distance. Or maybe (I would think this is the least likely) if the internals come out, tacking on the extra at the bottom end of the post.
Let me know if you have any solutions. Thanks in advance

I'm always up for modifying something to make it work but sounds like you're SOL on this one. Sorry, my two cents

Ya, thats what i fugured. Ordered a reverb 420mm yesterday. Found out they measure seatpost length from the end of the post to the bottom of the clamp, so I had a 375 mm post, not the 400 I thought I had. 420 mm post should give me what I need plus a little more
