    98 Klein Attitude and 2002 Gary Fisher Sugar 4+

    Need some advise guys a client of mine had these two bike in his garage looked like they haven't been used in years spoke are rusted and rim is completely gone chain needs replacement I asked him how much he wanted for them he responded with take them so i want to first restore the Klein Attitude what modern parts should or could I put on them i would like to put disc brakes is this possible

    You could probably put disc brakes on the front of the klein but the rear likely needs a particular (i think a hayes 22mm) adapter and with a bike of that age i'd not mess with it as you'd also need a new wheelset anyhow probably need a new fork to do it as well maybe stick a rigid disc fork on it and turn it into a singlespeed or go the other route and try and restore the whole thing with original parts
