    2000 Mantra Comp

2000 Mantra Comp been stored inside for 8 years. Ridden hard for 2 years, everything is original and functioning. I have a 2001 Klein Attitude and love the thing, but I might buy the Mantra to see if I like it. I know some Mantras are pretty sought after-What would some of you pay for this Mantra? (to help give me an idea for what I pay...)

Why do you want a mantra? I own one and when ever someone sees me that has also owned one, they say "yeah they climb great but you go over the bars way too often". And I would agree.

I think some people want them to convert to full suspension single speed with the URT giving a constant chain length. Other people like it to convert to a decent folding mtn bike.

As for price, I've seen them go up to $500 for perfect condition with disc brakes.

    Bonking ... not feelin' well

I rode one for years. Fun bike but outdated by today's standards. I still ride my attitude every day.
