    Trail conditions for Memorial Day

I've been out of town for a few weeks but will be back for Memorial Day and was hoping to ride. Has anybody been out to Kincaid or Hillside lately? Will they be ready for mountain bikes without leaving ruts? Any other local trail condition info out there? Summer's coming!

    Thanks!

Kincaid is most definitely NOT ready! Sill snow and deep mud on north facing aspects. Much to my dismay people have been out riding it, leaving deep ruts that will have to be repaired

Well that's nice to know, since my new bike won't be here till MONDAY evidently. I might have to see if I can pull some strings tomorrow if it shows up at the sorting facility.

In addition, the Kepler Bradley trails are also no where near ready for bikes. Lots of mud and bad ruts being left behind by people going out too early. Please wait for a while longer.

Yea it's always a bummer when people aren't patient and considerate and hit the trails early

Even the lower hillside is still wet and getting rutted...Lynx 99% dry, Salmon Run 99%, Gravel parts of the tour trail dry. Dirt parts, not so much. Old Rondy is pretty bad the further North you go. Lots of snow still. Lots of mud too.

Eklutna Lake trail was 95% dry yesterday. The parts that weren't dry were mostly gravel with big lake-ish puddles that could be ridden around. Erosion has worn away parts of the trail right next to the beach, creating sudden 4-foot drop offs on the lake side of the trail, so be careful out there.
