If you can make it to the Kenai Peninsula, there are some outstanding epic singletrack trails to be had there...

There are some great trails in Fairbanks. Healy has some trails worth checking out and so does Palmer. As mentioned check out Seward and Anchorage.

I live in Fairbanks and would gladly show another Canadian around.

    Not that I'm aware of

If you're asking about the road b/w Dawson City, Yukon and Tok, AK then I don't know of any mtb trails, but I'm sure there are mining/atv trails. The AK section is a dirt road and fun in itself.

    Good luck!

Not much single track specific, but tons of old mining roads and exploration trails, some of them are very old and run waaay back into the hills. Atv trails off those. More riding around Dawson and TOTW highway than you will ever finish. You can get a good general idea of what's what at the visitor's info in Dawson, ask about the main mining roads off the highway (ie to old townsite of Clinton Ck, etc) Lots of bears, lots of history, lots of everything.

Rode Canyon Creek about 20 years ago. Lots of creek crossing but lots of fun. My only advise would be to talk to any miners you see and ask if there's anyplace you should avoid. The miners we talked to and saw were all friendly but they did warn us about one claim. Don't go looking around on any claims, just ride through. We found some cool stuff on old abandoned claims, just took photos. We camped and rode for a couple of days.
