In an effort to link trails and get the goods before the goods are jungle, we parked at the Devils trailhead and rode to Snug Harbor road. Not a bad road ride at 9 miles. One lady yelled at us that there was a trail, but the trail was very hilly and she didn't ask nicely. Snug Harbor road took a bit as it is climbing and up about 12. Russian was in great shape and put us right out by Gwins. An hour, 4 IPA's, and a burger later we were on the way to the Cooper Landing TH of Resurrection. In sort of a buzzed adrenaline sprint, we made it the swan lake climb in no time. About 2/3 of the way up, I hit a wall and had to eat everything I had left. I thought the burger and beers would have carried me to the truck. It was great being up there on such a warm and sunny night. It has been years since I've seen it so dusty and pleasant up there.![]()
