    Awesome video, Phil! Where was that canyon riding at? I looked kinda like the area where the road splits to go to Chiniak/Pasagshak. Also, what kind of hand covers were those that you had on your handlebars?

    It's a compilation of locations. The canyon at the the head of the American River, the Upper Buskin, etc. There are actually a lot of narrows like these in places. The Russian River, Red Cloud, and others get canyony. The creek ices over and then the canyon fills with snow. The holes where the ice collapses are interesting, but the creeks are quite shallow even when things don't go according to plan.
