    Kincaid STA Trail Closure

Folks, the NSAA will be constructing a new biathlon loop that will affect a portion of Mighty Bike. The rest of the trail system will be unaffected. As a result of the new loop, we will be rerouting Mighty Bike and building a new portion of trail in order to relocate the new intersection to a safer more suitable location. The affected trail will be closed during the construction for safety reasons, there will be heavy equipment working this area. Please stay off the closed portion of trail and do not approach heavy equipment as the operator may not see you. Please respect the closure and choose alternate route's (ski trails) around the area. This work is scheduled to start as early as Thursday of Friday of this week. It will take us some time to reroute Mighty Bike. We will most definitely need help with hand tooling the new section. Work parties will be formed and run the same way as we did last summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Hopefully we will have this hiccup behind us soon and we can resume cruising around on our "race tracks in the woods". On a side note don't forget about the Bear Tooth showing of Revel The Path on September 17th @ 8:00pm. Proceeds will bennifit STA. -Ryan

    Good job!

Oh Boy! More opportunities to dig in the dirt! I was worried that my tool handling skills were getting rusty.

Very cool of the ski club to help us with the reroute and to dedicate their resources to helping us with a new trail section!
    Meanwhile, back at the hive....
