    Kenai Peninsula Trail Conditions

It is a pain not knowing what to expect from the trails down there before making the drive.

So any updates you could post here from those of you willing to be guinea pigs is very much appreciated.

    Your neck of the woods.
It kind of runs from Ptarmigan Head southwest right to the Center Plateau just north of EMT hill.
You can take Straight-in trail to Ninilchik Dome trail from the south, or take Water Hole trail from the north and head southeast.

I'm sure things have changed in the last few weeks with weather and such.

And I just like how it rolls off your tongue, Center Plateau is good to go.

How about taking advantage of a trail condition website already in place just for this use. http://www.crosscountryalaska.org/trails/ This site is set up for skiing, hiking, biking, etc... There aren't many posts yet for the Kenai Peninsula, but I would encourage people to post there rather than here. It is a good central place to look and not isolated to a limited area.
