    Hillside brown bear sighting

Just a heads up, I spotted a big brownie crossing gas line about 10 o'clock last night. The bear came out from Brown Bear/Black Bear trailhead and continued up the hill along Spencer. Bear bells and bear spray!

I've seen 7 blacks in the last week, 3 in Kincaid, week before that another black at hillside. According to the Campbell Creek Sci Center, the browns around that area are most active after 9pm.

    You're turning black metallic.

Believe me, I had the bearhair on the back of my neck up Saturday night, turns out for a good reason! If it had not been for a moose that slowed me down along Gas Line I would have been going into black bear about the time the brownie was coming out. I told that moose he might want to think about getting out of the area.

Yep, there are more and more bears showing up in the Kincaid Moose Range. Wolves next. Its great habitat down there.
