    Good time

I tried to burn some of the lard I aquired yesterday out on the Palmer Hay Flats. Here's a sequence of shots I got while goofing around on the bank of a slough.
    Bike riding = Fun
By the way, I love the poguees, Thanks Mark.

    Nice

You should head into town and get your nutz smacked tomorrow! Give Rando a call, he was thinking about riding it.

You missed the midnight ride on the Lake Sat.! Frozen solid and very fast.

Glad you like the pogies and now I see aerodynamic lift is an added feature. Hope you can keep it on the ground with those things on! I was thinking of riding out there the other day, any thin ice on those sloughs? We're planning on riding out from Deshka landing to the Yentna and points upstream later this week. Rumour has it the ice is good with no snow, just jumbled pan ice in places.

As far as I could tell the ice was around a foot thick. Lots of sagging and pressure cracking but no water seeping through any time recently. I was amazed at how much traction I was getting on bare, shiny ice. I think you were right on when you said all of that dust that was kicked up by our recent breezy weather was going to spell good traction later.
