    Lookin' for Clarificaiton

The post above clearly says "to Kincaid chalet" but I've been hearing reports of Uranus being the turn-around point. Any truth to that? I can go either way, I'd just like to know ahead of time if I'm targeting Uranus.

    Turn at Uranus

The Uranus turn around will be the short course approx. 17 miles long. It will have the same adventure segment as the longer Snaux Bro course !

Also on December 30th there will be a 12 mile event ( Stomp ) on the ice at Goose Lake. The course will be modified to be wider and the heinous sand sections will only have to be ridden twice.

    Uh ...

For those of us who have never paid attention to the location of Uranus, how will we recognize it in the dark?

I mean, if someone doesn't see the sign, they could ride right past Uranus. Then we'd have a bunch of people running around in the darkness and asking strangers, "Excuse me, can you show me Uranus?"

So if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows?

Rio, with Uranus so bright, won't you guide our race Saturday night?

    Trail Map

Route starting at the Paddle Boat Cafe up to Uranus For those that can’t find Uranus or know where it might be! It is located on the right a 1/4 a mile give or take past mile marker 3. If you find yourself at the benches or at the end of the runway Uranus is at your six.

    Coastal Trail Single Track

This is the first and second sections of single track on the Coastal Trail. The first section is relatively easy to find just hang a left at the intersection at Lyn Ary Park and follow to the next intersection and hang a right between the post go through this section and it will dump you out at another intersection just follow it straight through back onto the coastal trail. Stay on the coastal trail until you come up on mile marker 1.5 and about 15 yards past it on the left is the trail head for the second section.

    I'm going for DFL

Definetly the short course and slow. Turns out my Sweetie is having friends over for girlish stuff. I'm getting over a nasty cold but what the heck. Just for the sheer joy when one of the girls asks me what I'm all dressed up for."Why i'm all dressed up to........." I'm not sure which bike I'll run so I'll be the one smoking unfiltered camels.
