    Frigid Bits Drifting

Nice to hear from you !
yes, that is Alaska Hard Water Single Track.
I just returned from doing 4 laps on the course and the entire course has so much traction in that there is a 1 inch layer of frost frozen in the ice and that provides so much traction I could lean the bike over in the turns with hardly a worry of falling over !

You know we Alaskan's like to do things BIG.

Well I had the opportunity to ride the course this afternoon. And let me tell you it is going to be fun. It starts off nice and easy with a couple gentle turns and a few semi strait a ways. Then the fun begins! One can assume this where the spirits started to flow.

The course all of a sudden has more curves than J Los A$$. It gets nice and tight then opens up to the center of the lake and back around to where you started. It is going to be fun and a good time had by all. Here are a few pictures of Rio on the start of the course. I will refrain from posting pictures of J Los A$$.

Oh and before I forget Rio, thanks a lot! I just got my snowbike, but now I want yours! That was one sweet ride. Thanks

The course is sort of the Alaska version of a crop circle. It's a little-known fact that this is all part of Rio's mysterious cold-weather behavior. When seen from the air, the pattern on Goose Lake looks remarkably like this:
