    Annapurna Circuit bike trip

So nearly a year after our trip, I finally have a video that pieces together the trip with pictures and shoddy Go pro camera work. It's long, but I thought I'd share it out because the trip is a bucket list type of trip.

In summary, the trip is a popular trek through the Annapurna region of the Himalayas. Staying at teahouses in small villages in the mountains, we rode rough jeep roads and single track 300 miles and up as high as about 18k feet. An amazing cultural experience, and quite the ride each day.

Himalayan Singletrack orchestrated the ride for us.

YouTube is blocking the video. Sad I was excited to see it.

That's weird. I'm having friends say they can open it, others can't. I did use songs that I don't have a license for, but that's been fine before. Maybe I need to make a version that is song-less. I'll do that.

Annapurna Circuit No Music - YouTube

This version has no music, and so it should work on anything. Just less cool. The music was rad.

Great trip. Wish I could have seen the one with music. Still very enjoyable. How were you able to travel so light?

Porters. Could make it without them, but carrying a load like that on terrain like that would be fun prohibitive. They'd leave early before us, and get to checkpoints a few hours after.
