    So much for today's ride...

Well, the passing storm did more than just rain, woke up to 4 inches of snow! This would be perfect weather for an Airborne Fat Bike, right?

Money doesn't buy happiness, but you can buy a bike, and that is pretty close.

Man, 4" of fresh snow is perfect for any bike!

There was between 1 and 5" on this day and I was on a rigid 26" bike having the time of my life! This was a more bare section because it was exposed... this was about 2 miles into the climb to the backside where riding is rockier and more technical.

Hey, no complaining from up north! We need all the precipitation we can get. Hoping we get some ride ruining snow overnight here in Albuquerque.

There was 3-4 inches when I started this ride last Saturday and another 1-2 fell while I was riding. We've had snow on the ground the last few weeks and I've been out in it 2-3 times a week. Not so bad just a lot of extra effort to get going. No studs.

I "chickened" out, as it was a wet snow, and I just gave the bike a tear down/tune up in anticipation of the 42T arriving this week. The snow is just about melted, which means the trails should be good for the first test.
