    Skyhawk rear wheel clearance

    hello all

i'm looking to go 650b on a Skyhawk, does anyone know if this is possible?

it would be awesome to see pics of the rear wheel clearances to get a better idea if this is at all possible. thanks!

    Hey there,

No, it's not possible nor is it recommended. The tire would strike the chainstay brace. There truthfully aren't too many 26" hardtail designs that will accomodate 650B wheels, and the very few that do still can't get around the problem of the BB now being almost .75 inches higher. This doesn't take the fork clearance into account and most 26" forks on the market have bridge-clearance issues when trying to fit a 650b wheel in there.
