    Seeker brake question

    Hey everyone,

This winter I'm buying a new wheel set and thought while I was at it I'd upgrade to a 180mm front rotor. I'm having trouble figuring out what bracket I need. Anyone have an idea what I'll need?

    Thanks.

or you can shave down the Avid 185mm adapter to work.

I've never done it, just spoken with my mechanic about it, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Avid/SRAM has moved to a 180mm rotor standard, the 185 really isn't being utilized anymore. To put a 180mm rotor on a Seeker, the 20mm post-mount adapter (with longer bolts that come with it) is needed. I recommend the SRAM part if possible.

Awesome Jeremy! I didn't find the 20mm adapter, all I could find was the old 185, but that explians why it was discounted to sub $5

    Seeker brake question

I run that same adapter and a 180 mm rotor on my first gen Goblin. Nice inexpensive upgrade and I think it made the brakes feel more even front to rear of that makes sense.

Awesome, that's exactly what I was looking for. I kept coming across 20mm spacers but they looked like they were for the rear caliper. Thanks for all your help guys!

OP, do you mind if I ask where you found the right adapter and hardware?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I really did look, but wasn't sure I was finding the right part.

What size screws/bolts do I need for this adapter?
