New Goblin, possible disc brake leak?

    Hi guys,

I just received my new Goblin this weekend and am going through assembly and tuning. Doesn't seem as hard after watching a few videos and going through the manual, but its taking some time as I've never done proper tuning myself before.

As I was adjusting the front disc to eliminate the rub (I just loosened the two screws and eyeballed it until I had no more rub while spinning the wheel) with the wheel in place I squeezed the front break a few times, to make sure it wouldn't rub again. I have the bike upside down as I don't have a stand yet, and got surprised that when squeezing the brake I had a few drips of brake fluid drop off from the caliper.

Is this normal (given the bike was upside down)? Do I have a leak and/or should I be worried about it? Or does this mean the brakes weren't bled properly and only the excess fluid is supposed to leak out?

New to disc brakes and just need a few pointers what is to be expected especially for a new bike.

    Thanks,
    Alex

does the current Goblin come with the "NEW" elixir 7 ? or the older style?
as I found this review: Avid Elixir 7 Brakes - Tested - Pinkbike.

I too have NO experience in hydraulic brakes,
    Thank for your help.

The "old" ones aren't available anymore.............so..............they come with the only ones that are available, the current ones, with the nice reach adjustment dial.

    Hope that helps,
