New to air fork - question

I know this isn't Airborne specific, but I'll ask anyway.

On my new Seeker with the Recon Gold fork, I'm trying to set up the sag/preload. I weigh about 290 lbs. at the moment. Does the neighborhood of 175 psi in the fork sound about right?

I'd try that to start, although you may need another 10-15psi to fully dial it in. Pump it to 175 then check the sag after you sit on the bike. The Recon doesn't have a rubber measuring device like the Reba and above, but you can use a zip tie to set it up instead. Try to aim for about 20% sag. Hope that makes sense!

My Recon Gold on my seeker has the rubber measuring device but no chart. Not sure if they all do or just some.

Mine has an orange o-ring on one side that sure seems to be for checking travel.

Doh. Brain fart. It doesn't have the sag meter printed on it, but it does have the orange o-ring. Sorry about that.

heh, Jeremy, I'm the king of "doh"!

On another note, I'm trying really hard to get some things done so that I can do at least a gravel road ride in today. My first ride longer than around the house yelling at everyone to look at me...
