    need airborne taka size help...

Hi, I'm ready to order my Taka. I usually ride a large (19 or 20 inch) frame. I am 5'11" and have a 32 inch inseam. I was told by several people that it is a good idea to size down for a DH bike. Does this sound right?

Also, If anyone knows if the stock taka springs are adequate for a 180 pound rider that would be a big help. Thanks Tim

I'm 5'8" and the 17 feels perfect for me (31 inch inseam). I tried the small - it's not a standover thing, it's a top tupbe/cockpit length thing. The 16's cockpit was very tiny... not sure how this translates to what you are used to, but seems like a 17 would be on the small side for you.

I'm about 185 - 190 suited up and the stock spring works okay, if not a bit on the soft side. The stock spring is a great starting point for our weight...
