I'm fairly certain that a helicopter approaching a cargo vessel in international waters with the intent of commandeering some of its contents would probably be considered to be piracy...........or at least the makings of an international incident.

At the very least it would be bad.........

I think its actually lighter than 163 grams. As they have 110 at 163 and the 17 has a 90 mm right? so slightly lighter!

Yep! Talked to Eric at Airborne and he said around April 12! So time is crawling right now as I have no other bikes. I find my self on the Airborne website looking at the bike a lot!

Neither one is for 90mm! That's why I asked because they didnt post it on the website! Thought he would know. But it's close to that anyway.

I know, I was having fun with BDF's comment "let me google that for you" that he replied to you with. My link was more or less the same one that BDF provided.

My link is a poke at people who always ask for something that they can easily find by google'ing (not necessarily directed at you Mitch) I get it all the time from people at work and what not so I usually reply with a link from Let me google that for you

Let me clarify that "April 12th" is an estimate at best. That's dependant on the shipment hitting the Port the first week in April, clearing customs, getting unloaded in a timely manner, and making it to our warehouse. There are things that can happen in those processes to delay it, so I'm really hesitant to give specific date estimates.

I think that what we've been saying all along really is the best estimate: We expect the bikes to leave our warehouse destined for our customers sometime the week of April 7th. That means that your bike could leave the warehouse on the Fed-Ex truck anywhere from Monday April 8th thru Friday April 12th. And depending on where you live, you could be a 1-6 day ship. April 12th, IMHO, is a best-case scenario.

The only time that you can actually have a guaranteed delivery date is after you receive the Fed-Ex tracking number from us after your bike leaves the warehouse.

I know folks are excited about their bikes getting here and shipping out to them (me too!) and we are getting lots of calls and emails asking for a specific date, but nothing has changed since we posted up our best estimate for the week we expect them to arrive and the week we expect shipping to begin.

    Thanks!

    Jeremy
    Airborne Dude.
